It is of no question and without any doubt, she can be called one of the european Technoheroes. Since many years, she has been flying all over the world and her performance is always  welcome in the clubs by all her fans waiting to see and hear her live. Her unique DJ mixing skills on 3 decks, and her feeling for music and groove makes her set uniquely recognisable and this has made her what she is today.

This time, Gayle San adds a touch of live greek instrument during her mix. Gayle San met the greek musician Artemis at a Music Festival in Athens, who not only playes the Lyra (greek instrument) but also builds it. He has also created the instrument called the "X" which he has played during Gayle Sans mix. As Gayle has always loved traditional instruments, so this is one to experience. This is a short glance into one of her DJ-sets which has made her so popular.

Robert Natus - Catapilar EP

A 1 : SomewhereinNowhere
A 2 : Dortmund 2007
B 1 : Catapilar
B 2 : Dark Raver

Robert Natus is amongst the youngest and most successful German Producers and DJs. More than 120 Releases at several international platforms and appearances at the biggest techno-events are emphasising his reputation as exceptionally talented producer and deejay. He makes all the difference concerning progressive techno by means of a great stylistic amplitude. He's re-inventing himself by compounding styles and always differently approaching his energetic dance floor monsters everyday. While he hardly can be classified he nevertheless reduces his message to a common denominator:
High quality and extreme energy which riot the dance floors of his growing and loyal audience.
The new Fine Audio EP is from the beginning blowing people off to a different universe - incredible amount of energy in every track - firearms certificate needed!

A1: Somewhere in Nowhere

The abruptly out breaking beat forces you to join in. A filtered distorted bass is opening cut-off until the break tears apart everything what is not tightly screwed. Screeching overtones and the following long hihats accelerate every dance floor to the speed of light. The second filtered break leaves nothing to be desired. No brakes!

A2: Dortmund 2007

begins with a deep beat and by the use of wide reverb-sounds creates something like hypnotism. It's going on in a dark manner until the trip-beat break combined with a harmonic melody is raising all hands! Surprisingly different than expected the next part is a pushing percussive one...no time to catch one's breath.

B1: Catapilar

A bit more calm than the preceding tracks but equally powerful. That's how Natus' interpretation of minimal sounds. Playful mover! The omnipresent bass is located in the groovy centre and gives a deep, fat base plate to the assorted percussions which are peppered with filter and distortion. High class head banger!

B2: Dark Raver

The stand alone kick drum together with a monstrous effect rolls down the environment to a flat place. Suddenly the straight initiating percussion pushes you to the middle of the dance floor and grabs the whole body. Not suited for tender minds but all the more a guarantor for frenetically partying people - detached from time and space!

februar 2007 / Fine Audio Restart with Lars Klein

Lars Klein - Restart

A1: Reminder

A2: Breaker
B1: Afterlife
B2: Oni No Men

Lars Klein – Maybe his love for corroded sounds and hard hitting beats stems from the fact that Klein was born in Dortmund, the Ruhr area’s derelict steel capital that has recently seen a renaissance. Maybe it’s down to Jean Michel Jarre who is responsible for infecting Klein with the electronic virus, paving the way for a house obsession which led Klein to try his luck as a turntablist. Later venturing into production, he started to assemble tracks which would reflect his growing fascination with harder and darker sounds. Being a steady favourite of the heavy and fast, the productions of the Dortmunder have been released labels as diverse and well-known as UK’s Primate and Planet Rhythms, his own label LK as well as Fine Audio, founded by Germany’s über techno Chris Liebing. After being run by Klein’s production partner Michael Burkart for some time, it’s now managed by Daredo Music, gaining momentum with new top releases. Excelling his former Fine Audio output, this new Klein EP is energy in its purest form, his sound dark, dynamic and high tech.

A1: Reminder Going back to his loopy roots only to drive us loopy, Lars sends us a little reminder what for him techno is all about. Waning and waxing, screeching abrasive metal sounds, reminiscent and timeless at the same time, pierce loopholes into the pumping structure.

A2: Breaker Looking for a party peaker that will cause a stampede? Don’t say we didn’t warn you!! This track is a heavy humping shuffle pumper which, with its mid tempo groove and slow peaking structure, drives the floor insane in no time.

B1: Afterlife
Heavy hitting bass drums seem to permeate the whole body while slinky, filtered hihats set the pace for a racy ride. Explosive breaks, abrasive drum rolls, and phenotypical techno trickery make this an afterburner per excellence.

B2: Oni No Men Dark droning basses and slow ticking tinny toms and hi hats and bleepy submarine radar sounds make listening to this slowly dawning track a creepy experience. Reminiscent of old times when techno didn’t automatically have to be fast to do the damage.
